Summary
Osthole is an active component isolated from the fruit of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cusson, a Chinese herbal medicine which has effect of anti-inflammation. Osthole has effects of spasmolysising, lowering blood pressure, anti-arrhythmia, enhancing immune and broad-spectrum antibacterium. Recent years, it is researched and prepared as bio-pesticide.
