Summary
Silymarin is a kind of flavonolignan compound extracted from mature dried seeds of Silybum marianum (L). Gaertn, silymarin mainly contains four kinds of flavonolignans, silybin, isosilybin, silychristin and silydianin. It has been shown that all the components of silymarin inhibit lipoxygenase, peroxidase and protect hepatocyte, in clinical therapy, it has evident effect on liver diseases such as hepatotoxicity, hepatosis. Our product has been registered in KFDA already.
